Fundraising News - 2008/2009

Money raised is split between donations to Diabetes UK, Local Diabetic Children and Diabetic Equipment for local hospitals

South Crofton Social Club - As there chosen charity last year we have recieved a cheque for £600 for group funds!

Pratts Bottom Village Fete - We raised £189 from the tombola, £37.50 from the craft sale and £240 from cakes!

BP Donations - Employee Matching Fund of Charities Aid Foundation have kindly supported us since 2003 matching our event fund activities totalling a tremendous £6,068

Probus - have generously donated from their funds £60 each for years 2005, 2006 and 2007

Biggin Hill Fair - We have had a stall over the past few years - our most recent event  we raised £118

Cherry Lodge Golf Club Lady Captain Elspeth Howell who has picked Diabetes as her chosen charity and to date has raised a huge £785 

Croydon Welsh Society - XYB concert A tremendous £636 was raised by holding a charity concert - a fantastic evening was had by everyone

Race Nights - Bulls Head Pub We raised over £530 in March and £475 in October and had lots of fun on the way

Quiz Night - Bulls Head Pub In July we raised over £155

August Bank Holiday Fun Day We raised over £442 largely due to the generosity of the locals at the Bulls Head Pub.

Disco Fever Back in March Fiona Heath organised and ran an adult disco which raised a fantastic £740

Demin for Diabetes Day Back in June Clare Hamilton raised a huge £180
